I didn't know what to expect, but it over-exceeded whatever expectation I might've had because I don't hit the ball like that, and that was cool.

Choosing between the 3-wood and 5-wood comes down to personal choice. As a general rule of thumb, a 3-wood with 16° of loft will travel farther than a 5-wood with 19° of loft.
